A Shared Journey

Guardian Home / Co-ownership Info

We believe every breeding cat deserves their "forever couch" from the very start. Through our Guardian Program, select local families can welcome a premier Sweet Siamese into their home at no cost while they participate in our breeding journey. Alternatively, our Co-ownership Program offers the chance to purchase a "pick of the litter" kitten at a significantly reduced price while enjoying a share of the profits.

How a Guardian Home Works

  • You receive a "Pick of the Litter" kitten to live as your permanent family pet.
  • Sweet Siamese retains breeding rights until s/he is 6 years old.
  • Once the contract is fulfilled, you spay/neuter the cat and full ownership is signed over to you.

The Benefits

  • Become a Guardian to a premier Siamese at no purchase cost.
  • Priority access to the most stunning kittens in our program.
  • The joy of being a part of preserving and improving this incredible breed.
  • Lifetime mentorship and support from us.

Guardian Requirements

Proximity: Must live within 30 miles of Middletown, DE OR willing to transport the cat back to me for breeding/whelping.
Lifestyle: Must be an indoor-only home with no other intact (unfixed) cats.
Communication: Must be willing to provide regular photo updates and maintain open communication with the cattery.
Care: Responsible for routine pet costs (high-quality food, annual vaccines, heartworm/flea prevention).
Crating Requirement: The cat must be crated for at least 8 hours per 24-hour period (overnight is perfectly fine). I will send you the link to the specific model.
Insurance: You must maintain a Trupanion health insurance policy for the term of the contract.

How Co-ownership Works

  • You receive a "Pick of the Litter" kitten—the highest quality in our program—at a significantly reduced cost to live as your cherished companion.
  • Both parties will hold joint breeding rights with a 50/50 split of net proceeds until the cat reaches six years of age. All 'off-the-top' expenses—including veterinary care and routine maintenance—will be deducted from the gross litter income prior to any profit distribution.
  • Once the contract is fulfilled, you spay her with income from the last litter and full ownership is signed over to you.

The Benefits

  • Secure a premier Siamese at a significant reduction of the standard purchase price.
  • Gain exclusive priority access to the most exceptional kittens produced within our program.
  • Play a pivotal role in the ethical preservation and genetic advancement of the Siamese lineage.
  • Benefit from a lifelong partnership, including expert mentorship and 24/7 breeder support.

Co-owner Requirements

Proximity: Partners must be located within a reasonable distance of Middletown, DE for biannual stud services. Alternatively, co-owners may house or purchase an unrelated CFA-registered Siamese male to serve as a resident stud.
Lifestyle: To ensure health and safety, cats must remain indoors-only. The household must have no other intact (unfixed) cats, with the exception of other CFA Female Siamese BUT only 1 CFA Male Siamese.
Communication: We require a transparent partnership, including regular health and progress photos and consistent updates with your cattery.
Care: Co-owners provide daily care and high-quality nutrition. All routine maintenance costs (premium food, annual vaccinations, and preventative treatments) are fully reimbursable from the litter's gross income.
Crating Requirement: For the safety of the litter, the cat must be crated during the whelping process in a secluded area away from other pets. We will provide a link to our recommended professional whelping model.
Insurance: To mitigate risk, a Trupanion insurance policy must be maintained for the duration of the contract, funded directly from litter proceeds.
